Community Guidelines

Effective Date: August 7, 2026
Last Updated: August 7, 2026

Ride Along is a community of riders. These guidelines apply to everything you post or send in the app: profiles, photos, chat messages, group names and descriptions, route titles, and reviews.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Accounts that break these rules can be suspended or removed without notice.

1. What is not allowed

1.1 Harassment and abuse

1.2 Hate and discrimination

1.3 Sexual and violent content

1.4 Illegal and dangerous riding content

1.5 Spam, scams, and impersonation

1.6 Privacy violations

2. What we expect from you

3. Reporting and blocking

Every profile, chat, group, route, and review can be reported from inside the app. You can also block any user, which stops them from contacting you, inviting you, or appearing in your lists.

Reports go to our moderation team. We review every report, and we do not share the reporter's identity with the reported user.

4. How we enforce these rules

Depending on the severity and history, we may:

  1. Remove the content
  2. Issue a warning
  3. Temporarily restrict messaging or posting
  4. Suspend or permanently delete the account
  5. Report the matter to law enforcement where the law requires it

We act on reported content promptly, and we may act on content we detect ourselves.

5. Appeals and contact

If you believe we made a mistake, contact us and we will re-review the decision.

6. Changes

We may update these guidelines as the community grows. The effective date above always shows the current version.
