Community Guidelines
Effective Date: August 7, 2026
Last Updated: August 7, 2026
Ride Along is a community of riders. These guidelines apply to everything you post or send in the app: profiles, photos, chat messages, group names and descriptions, route titles, and reviews.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Accounts that break these rules can be suspended or removed without notice.
1. What is not allowed
1.1 Harassment and abuse
- Threats, intimidation, stalking, or repeated unwanted contact
- Bullying, insults, or targeted attacks against another rider
1.2 Hate and discrimination
- Content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age
1.3 Sexual and violent content
- Sexually explicit images or messages
- Graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies self-harm
- Any content involving minors in a sexual context, which we report to the authorities
1.4 Illegal and dangerous riding content
- Encouraging or organising illegal street racing
- Content that promotes riding under the influence
- Sharing routes designed to evade law enforcement or endanger others
1.5 Spam, scams, and impersonation
- Unsolicited advertising, phishing, or fraudulent offers
- Pretending to be another person, brand, or organisation
- Fake accounts and automated mass messaging
1.6 Privacy violations
- Posting someone else's personal data (address, phone number, plate number, live location) without consent
- Sharing private conversations or images of others without permission
2. What we expect from you
- Ride and post responsibly. Follow the traffic laws of the country you ride in.
- Use real, accurate profile information.
- Respect other riders' boundaries, skill levels, and decisions.
- Only upload photos you have the right to share.
3. Reporting and blocking
Every profile, chat, group, route, and review can be reported from inside the app. You can also block any user, which stops them from contacting you, inviting you, or appearing in your lists.
Reports go to our moderation team. We review every report, and we do not share the reporter's identity with the reported user.
4. How we enforce these rules
Depending on the severity and history, we may:
- Remove the content
- Issue a warning
- Temporarily restrict messaging or posting
- Suspend or permanently delete the account
- Report the matter to law enforcement where the law requires it
We act on reported content promptly, and we may act on content we detect ourselves.
5. Appeals and contact
If you believe we made a mistake, contact us and we will re-review the decision.

6. Changes
We may update these guidelines as the community grows. The effective date above always shows the current version.
